   Norway was a great last hurrah, but of course, I couldn't leave Europe on such a high note. Remember when I wrote that whole post about "Tom" and all of the drama surrounding his inappropriate behavior? Well, while I was packing my room, my teacher came into and berated me for what I had done. She shamed me for having gotten my professor involved and having sent an email. She told me all the reasons my judgment was wrong all while professing that she just wanted to "get my perspective on the issue." Apparently, they had decided to have a meeting with Tom the next day. I thought it was convenient that they were waiting until both Tom and I were about to leave to talk to either of us about the situation.     I was offended that my teacher had chosen to come talk to me at a vulnerable moment when I was already stressed and busy.     I had waited months with bated anticipation to visit Greece and now it was over. Just like that. But I wasn't about to sit around and let the post-trip blues kick in. Actually, I had a flight booked the following day to Bergen, Norway. Yes. In less then 24 hours, I traveled from the southern tip of Europe, to some of its northern most edges. Did my body appreciate the drastic change from balmy, 90 degree weather, to rain and 30 degree forecasts? No, I can't say that it did. Did my back appreciate the switch from fluffed hotel pillows and soft silk sheets to having a lumpy jacket under my head while I tried to find the best way to lay without a twig sticking in my back? Not in the least. Did my stomach enjoy the change from three course meals to sticky oatmeal in a tin cup? Mmmm, not exactly.
