Like I said, the holidays have been busy. Here are some photos of life lately. :)

I got to FaceTime my niece and nephew. This little girl has started crawling. 😍 I'm so sad I can't squish her in my arms at Christmas. |

Me and the dorm kitty helping plan our Youth Group's special sabbath program. |
Every Youth Group on campus is tasked with preparing a church service for the rest of the school. Ours was on December 7th. We wanted to do something related to the Advent, since Christmas is drawing near, so we decided to create a narration. Amaru, a theology major and close friend of mine, went up and began talking to the students as if they were just conversing, asking, "How much longer do we have to wait?" Then he began to read. Each chapter of his book was a story from history concerning someone who had to wait for Jesus. Adam and Eve, John the Baptist, and the Pioneers. Three of us wrote these stories and read them upfront, and between each, Amaru spoke about their experiences and tied it up in the end with our own experience today. It was really powerful and I was blessed to be involved. My story was about the Pioneers waking up the day after The Great Disappointment. Everyone told me that the only thing stopping them from crying was the fact that I didn't. It went really well and God blessed everyone through the experience.
The next day we all went to a Christmas Market in Salzburg, which was a ton of fun. I tried a couple new holiday treats, bought presents for my friends, and took lots of photos. I forced each of my friends to take a photo with me. Every time I look at how many photos I have in my camera roll, I almost want to cry and I didn't even get a photo with everyone.

We visited the memorial chapel located on the spot where Joseph Mohr and Xaver Gruber originally wrote and performed Silent Night. We watched a film in class before we visited. :) |

This was the face Joseph Mohr was making in his portrait |

These three were probably so tired of me singing Christmas songs on the top of my lungs on the way to Salzburg |
